As of October 2004 members of South Africa's leading rewards programme will be rewarded for spending online. In March this year eBucks joined forces with kalahari.net by providing members with the ability to spend their eBucks with the e-retailer. Following the positive response received by members the partnership is to be extended and members will now also be rewarded with eBucks for rand purchases. Gary Hadfield, Commercial Manager of kalahari.net comments, "We are delighted to have seen such strong take-up of this initiative in so short a period of time. This serves as proof of the value that eBucks contributes to its partner's success and it has been decided the time is right for the partnership to be elevated to the next level. We look forward to even more benefits, both short and long-term. The beauty for a partner of a successful rewards programme is a happy customer and positive financial impact." Lezanne Human, CEO of the eBucks Rewards Programme says, "Feedback from our members indicates that the variety offered by kalahari.net and the ease of use of the site is very appealing and it has now become one of our strongest online shopping partners. With this new element to the partnership we expect to see even more of our members transacting on the kalahari.net website, enjoying the ability to either earn eBucks on rands spent or to purchase products with eBucks." Considered top in their respective fields, both kalahari.net and eBucks were recently voted amongst the top 5 of the Financial Mail's survey 'Top 100 website that save you time and money in South Africa'.
