GuardMe is a 24/7 nationwide medical and personal armed response service that is with you everywhere you go at the tap of a panic button. Register to gain access to up to 250 armed–response and medical service providers, 2,500 armed–response and emergency medical vehicles, as well as over 5,000 armed–response and medical personnel via the FNB or RMB Private Bank App.

As a subscriber, you will receive free access to GuardMe's services for the first 3 months for you, your loved ones or your staff members. A small fee of R19.90 per member per month is payable thereafter, and you could get up to 100% of your subscription fees for up to 6 members back in eBucks every month, depending on your reward level.

How To Subscribe

• Log in to the FNB/RMB Private Bank App on your smartphone
• Tap the eBucks tab, select Partners and then GuardMe
• Capture and confirm your details
• Confirm card/payment details

How to Add Members

• Tap the eBucks tab, select Partners and then GuardMe
• Click on “My subscription”
• Select “Add member”
• Capture and confirm their details
• They will receive a notification to complete the subscription and link their device
  • If the additional members are banked with FNB/ RMB Private Bank, they can link their device via the FNB or RMB Private Bank App
  • If they’re not banked with FNB or RMB Private Bank, they can link their device by downloading the GuardMe 2.0 app from the Android/ iOS app store

How the GuardMe service works

Step 1

• In an emergency, activate the GuardMe service on your phone at the simple touch of a button by clicking on “Emergency help”. This immediately notifies the AURA control centre who picks up your location from your device (location settings will need to be enabled).

Step 2

• The nearest emergency response vehicle will be automatically dispatched to your live location once a panic is activated.

Step 3

• The AURA control centre will immediately call to verify the nature of the emergency. If you're unable to answer the call, help will still be dispatched.

NOTE: It is recommended that you use the “Test GuardMe” button on the app to know how to use the service in the case of an emergency.

Earn up to 100% back on your GuardMe subscription fee

You could earn up to 100% back on your GuardMe subscription fee every month. Simply qualify for eBucks rewards and meet the below requirements:

FNB Easy Smart Option: Have a balance of over R10 000 in your FNB investment accounts to earn your GuardMe fee back in eBucks.

FNB Aspire: Have a balance of over R25 000 in your FNB investment accounts to earn your GuardMe fee back in eBucks

FNB Premier, FNB Private Clients, FNB Private Wealth, RMB Private Bank and FNB/RMB Private Bank Business: Earn up to 100% back based on your reward level

• Level 1: 0%
• Level 2: 10%
• Level 3: 20%
• Level 4: 50%
• Level 5: 100%

Terms of Use

• The GuardMe benefit is valid for FNB Easy PAYU, Easy Smart, Aspire, Premier, Private Clients, Private Wealth and , RMB Private Bank customers, as well as FNB/RMB Private Bank Business clients, eBucks and non-eBucks members (e.g., FNBY Next account holders). Visit the eBucks tab on the FNB/RMB Private Bank app to see if you can sign up for the service.
• You will need to subscribe on the FNB/RMB Private Bank App to access GuardMe at a subscription fee of R19.90 per member, per month.
• Customers can also add additional members under their profile at R19.90 per member per month. Customers can add both FNB/RMB Private Bank and non – FNB/RMB Private Banked family and friends.
• Customers can earn up to 100% of their fees back in eBucks every month when they meet the qualifying eBucks rewards requirements. This earn is capped to 6 members.
• In the event that the GuardMe subscription fee isn't collected, we may within 28 days, terminate your access to the GuardMe service.
• Customers can cancel the service via the FNB/ RMB Private Bank app at any time.
• Unlimited callouts are subject to GuardMe's fair usage policy.
